Composing Center:encourage interest and quality in scholarly writing by all students that are undergraduate

The All-College Writing Contest was made to encourage interest and excellence in scholarly writing by all undergraduate pupils enrolled at the faculty. The competition is sponsored because of essay writers the Center that is writing and by faculty people from many different procedures.

Students whose documents winnings honors within the All-College Writing Contest make scholastic distinction respected at the Honors that is appropriate Convocation. Winning essays are posted in Lake Forest’s on line book, Lake Forest Papers, and the champion gets a money reward.

All-College Contest that is writing Rules

1. All Lake Forest College undergraduate students may take part.

2. Expository writing (no fiction or poetry) from any Lake Forest university program.

3. Just one entry per pupil may be submitted.

4. Entries should really be submitted electronically.

5. No senior thesis can be granted the All-College writing award.

6. Documents are judged on clarity of prose, utilization of evidence, and quality of argument.

7. Lake Forest university faculty users judge all documents making use of a review process that is blind.

8. Please follow these instructions:
